The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities born after 29th May 2003.
Deadline for application: 30th APRIL 2022.
Memorizing the scores is not required.
The detailed list of the free program for piano solo and 4 hands piano must be submitted along with the application form with the complete scores in pdf.
Metronome instructions indicated on the scores must be taken into consideration.
The jury retains the right to abstain from awarding a particular prize. It may also terminate the playing of a piece before the end if it has sufficient elements to make its judgement. Its decision is final.
Prizes will be awarded after each degree.
Candidates who have not performed the works requested in the program will not be eligible for awards.
The performances are public. Free entrance.
Acceptance of the applicant will take place upon receipt of payment of the registration fees.
After the deadline for application, the participants will receive notice of the date and place of the competition. If this is not the case, please contact the Association Jeune Musique immediately.
In the event that an insufficient number of participants for a particular degree, the competition for that degree may be cancelled, in which case application fees will be refunded.
If a registered participant is unable to attend, they are requested to inform the Association Jeune Musique as soon as possible.
If a participant is unable to attend or perform, the application fee will not be refunded.
The candidates (or the parents for the minor candidates) may authorize AJM to make reports videos or photos, press articles, publications on the web site, the recording and the distribution of all or part of the performance of the candidates for the International Competition of Piano.
The prize-winners of the International Competition of Piano have to participate at the “Prize winner’s concert ” on 29th of May 2022 afternoon.
Any application to the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
